..بعدما أوقف الملك فيصل تصدير البترول عن الغرب يقول &#8221; كسينجر&#8221; وزير الخارجية الأمريكي الأسبق في مذكراته :- أنه عندما إلتقى الملك فيصل في جدّة عـام 1973 م في محاولة لإثنائه عن وقف ضخّ البترول رآه متجهماً &#8221; فأراد أن يستفتح الحديث معه بمداعبة فقال :- &#8221; إن طائرتي تقف هامدةً في المطار بسبب نفاد الوقود فهل تأمرون جلالتكم بتموينها ، و أنا مستعدٌ للدفع بالأسعار الحرة؟ يقول كيسنجر :- فلم يبتسمْ الملك بل رفع رأسه نحوي، وقال :- وأنا رجل طاعن في السن ، وأمنيتي أن أصلي ركعتين في المسجد الأقصى قبل أن أموت فهل تساعدني على تحقيق هذه الأمنية ؟
